ESPN BracketBuster Schedule of TV Games 2010
ESPN BracketBuster Schedule of TV GAMES
Bracket Buster basketball games are back in full force on ESPN. Here is the TV Schedule for those Bracket Buster Games.
The eighth annual BracketBusters begins in a few days and the matchups of the 11 nationally televised games were just announced on ESPNU. Should make for a fun slate of games on Feb. 19-20. Of the 22 teams, 19 are ranked in the top 100 of the RPI.
Siena will travel to Butler for its BracketBusters game, ESPN announced Monday evening. The game will be played at 11 in the morning Feb. 20 and will be televised on ESPN2.ButlerBulldogs
The Saints will face a tall order. The Bulldogs, who have been to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments, are 11-0 in the Horizon League and on a 10-game winning streak.
But the game represents a major opportunity for Siena to improve its NCAA Tournament resume. A win at Butler, ranked No. 18 in the RPI as of Monday afternoon, would put Siena in the mix for an at-large bid, should it fail to win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament.
Siena and Butler were two of 22 teams chosen to play BracketBusters games on national TV. They were selected from a pool of 98 schools; those that didn’t get selected for TV games still are matched up in non-conference games to be played the weekend of Feb. 20.
But Siena and Butler is the centerpiece of the BracketBusters event. The Saints, who are on a 13-game winning streak and 12-0 in the MAAC, will be facing one of the premier mid-major programs in the country.
